Christmas Party

  Our Wilrose centre celebrated our 2022 Christmas party with a disco day and pizza and Ice cream for lunch. We all had so much fun.

Santa

I had fun shopping at the lakes. It’s starting to get busy with shoppers, with Christmas not far away. I saw Santa while I was there and he got a photo with me and my friends. 

Anzac park

 I loved getting out in the sunshine for a kick around with the ball at Anzac park with my friends. I had lots of fun.

Railway models

 I had fun going to see the railway model club. The men there were very welcoming and showed us their displays and gave me a go at controlling the trains with different switches. 

Swimming and basketball

 I had an active friendship Tuesday. I started the morning with a nice swim at Greerton pools and after lunch I went and play basketball. Check out my jump shot I’m like superman! 

Library

I enjoyed going to the Greerton library. I listened to a story and hanging out with my friends. Afterwards I went and cheered for the I-dancers and watched their show. 

Garden

 I worked out in the garden this week in discovery. I helped set up a compost area and move some plants around and picked up leaves to make it tidy. 

Swimming

 I had heaps of fun going to Greerton pools for a swim this week. The weathers getting hotter now so I’m looking forward to going swimming lots more! 

Halloween Dance Party

What a wonderful day at our Halloween Disco today, I had so much fun with friends and a hangi for lunch

 

Mindfulness

 I learned about mindfulness, focusing and being calm. Yatton park was beautiful by the water fountain.

Mind, Body And Spirit

 I tried out some yoga moves, breathing exercises and meditation down at Yatton Park this week. It was nice and relaxing on the grass in the sunshine! 

Rose Gardens and Kulim Park

 I have really enjoyed getting out and about in the nice warmer weather this week.

Driving range

 I had lots of fun going to the driving range at 360 and hitting a few balls as far as I could! 

Swimming at Baywave

 I had a great time swimming at Baywave with my friends. I did a “bomb” off the edge and made a big splash! 

Rock On ~ Drama Show

In our drama show Rock On, my character was Contractor Dez. We had a big crowd of people come to watch our show and sing and dance along to our rock music. 

Food forrest

 I enjoyed being out in the sun to help plant a kiwi fruit tree at an organic orchard and then check out the veggies and animals at the food forrest.

Connect 20

 I love to hang out with my friends at Connect 20 on a Wednesday afternoon. 

Mount Hot Pools

 I enjoyed a morning at the Mount Hot Pools with my friends. I loved the warmth of the water. I tried out the warm pool' the hot spa pool and the ended in the cooler pool for a relaxing float.

Historical sites

 I went exploring around the Mt Maunganui area and learned abit of the history of some different spots. It was a nice sunny day to check things out! See this Pohutukawa tree is over 500 years old!
