Mt Maunganui Bridge

I walked over the Mt Maunganui Bridge with my friends from Wilrose Centre.  The weather was a lovely which made it even more special

Kulim Park

 Hello all.

I went to Kulim park with my friends from Wilrose Centre. I played basketball with my friends and I did some exercises. I had heaps of fun 🙃.

Sonic cinema

Hi all.

I had fun with my friends at the Sonic cinema. The movie we watched is called The Emoji Movie. I love going to the Sonic Cinema and can't wait to go back again 

Hand massaged

I had a relaxing session at Arohanui Wilrose Centre getting a hand massage from one of the staf

I finally got my dragon tattoo

 I am super happy and proud of myself because I finally got my dragon tattoo that I have been wanting for ages to get.

Battle of Gate pa

I had fun going to the Battle of Gate Pa to Te Whare tapa Wha with my friends learning history 

 

Singing waiata

  I had fun singing waiata and playing with the poi with my friends at the centre.

Swimming at Greerton pool

 I had lots of fun swimming at Greerton pool with friends.We like to throw the ball to each other and splash around in the water. Sometime I like to walk up and down the lakes to get extra exercise.

Johnson’s Reserve for discovery

Had a neat morning at Johnson’s Reserve today, watching the Tui birds sitting in the Kahikatea tree enjoying the berries.

 

Otumoetai Pa historic reserve

 I enjoyed going with the Te Whare Tapa Wha group to explore the Otumoetai Pa historic reserve. There were lots of information board with pictures to check out and see what it use to look like. It also showed pictures of artifacts from the maori who use to live on the land like fish hooks. 

Marshalls animal farm

 Marshall's animal farm was a awesome day today we went for a walk to see different farm animals my favorite was the horse and the guinea pig I had lunch with my friends and we took a slow walk thru the park to see all the farm animals.

Shopping

 I went centre shopping today with my friends and as always we had fun while learning life skills

Lazer tag

 I had a blast going to play a game of Lazer tag. I had to race around a maze looking for my friends to shoot them with my Lazer gun. The walls had glow in the dark paint on them, it was a cool experience.

Rotary Park

I had fun in the sun at rotary park I enjoyed playing volleyball with my friends we had a good chat In the shade we put our sunscreen on and hats to protect us from the sun we had music playing and we sang some songs while hearing birds in the background 

Swimming

Today I enjoyed swimming and socializing with my friends splashed around and joined in with the exercise class using water exercise equipment it was a warm day to cool down with a awesome group of people

 Hi everyone the year has started here at Wilrose and it has been great went to Maxwells beach and looked under the rocks for crabs and found some big ones.
