Christmas time

We all have been enjoying the last week of the year, here at the centre. We got to choose a secret Santa present and enjoyed a yummy BBQ lunch. I can't wait to come back to the centre next year!

Singing

I love to belt out a good song. Elvis is my favourite. I also love to sing Bob Marley and Bony M!

Oropi hot pools

I had the best time going up to Oropi for a nice relaxing swim and a yummy feed of burger and chips. Such a fun afternoon!

Worlds end!

I had a cool afternoon at worlds end with the lads from centre. We played pool, had a refreshing glass of water and shared a bowl of yummy fries......

Swimming

I'm really enjoying swimming at the Greeton pools with the sports group every Tuesday afternoon.

Farm

I had a go at getting the horse to trot!

Horse skills

At the farm, I put the halter on the horse and guide him around the ring and through circuits.

Farm day

I love going to the farm because I get to see all the animals. I especially like Nicole's dog Charlie, he is super friendly and loves cuddles!

Busy week

I've been super busy this week. We went to do composting at the Bethlehem community gardens, had a boogie in our music session and then went swimming at the Greerton pools!

The village

I had a great afternoon at the historic village with the lads. I really liked the amazing artwork on the wall in the incubator and browsing through the gift shops......

Operatunity concert

I enjoyed the Operatunity concert it was awesome. I enjoyed the Elvis medley. The band was awesome and the singers were great. After the concert we had lunch outside in the fresh air. Great end to the day........

Sunshine

I loved it when we had a break from the rain and we got to get out in the sunshine to the park at the lakes! 

Talent quest

I sang Elvis Presley's - Suspicious Minds at the TalentQuest and also joined in a group performance of Doh Ray Me from The Sound of Music! It was lots of fun! 

Drama play

I played the Mayor in the drama play this week. Check out my top hat! 

Volleyball

I enjoyed a game of indoor balloon volleyball with the sports team. I was a bit worried about the balloon popping at first but it was very exciting and I really got into the game! 

Talent Quest Practice

I practised my song for the upcoming Talent Quest at Arohanui - I'm doing Elvis Presley - Suspicious Minds!

Learning through discovery

We've been learning to make our own kites. This week got to go out and fly them. They looked cool up in the sky.

Mini golf

I played mini golf and it was heaps of fun. I was pretty good at it and enjoyed a challenge Think I would like to do it again some day

Working hard on the farm

We always work hard on the farm - feeding the animals and making concrete moulds. I helped moved some bark on Friday as we were sorting out our work station. 

Digging in the garden

The volunteer group went to the Bethlehem Community Gardens this afternoon. We did a big job moving the compost over to the next compost bin.

This week in sports we had a game of cricket. I was pretty quick and got lots of runs. We all enjoyed playing.

Elvis

I sang along to Elvis Presley - Suspicious Minds in music this week and did a pretty good impersonation of him. 

Library

I really enjoyed my visit to the library this week. I like to go on the computer and this week I was looking at the earth!

Daycare at the Farm

I love working on the farm and also seeing the little kids who come and join us - I like to help out and explain things to them. 

Sports Shop

We went to Rebel Sports to get our balls pumped up. I saw some $12 hats that I liked that I might go back and buy.

Personal book

I have been busy getting some of my personal book done. This is my swimming page, I've coloured in the boarder like waves and did a nice boarder around my picture.

Citz Club Lunch

The guys group had lunch at the Tauranga Citz Club. I renewed my membership there for another year. I had a seafood cocktail for lunch - squid rings, scallops and crumbed fish.
