Party time

We had our end of year Christmas party it was so much fun and the food was yummy

Rudolf the red nose reindeer!

I enjoyed playing rudolf in the Christmas drama play. It was fun singing all the Christmas songs! Check out my costume!

Christmas float

Woah check out the good neighbour float for the Christmas parade that I helped to create. It looks so cool.

Down townI

I had heaps of fun seeing the Arohanui tree I helped to paint that’s being displayed on the strand. Then I went to a Christmas display and then ate lunch down next to water. What a great day!

Baywave

I went swimming at Baywave with my friends. We all took turns to do bombs into the water. I made a big splash! Hee hee!

Big Horse Trek

We went horse riding all around a farm, up and down the track. It was fun to ride with my friends. What a lovely day!

The Elms

Mike loves the elms so today we were lucky enough to have a free guided tour, it was very neat.

A game with the guys

I enjoyed playing a game of giant snakes and ladders with the guys. I like a good challenge and we all had fun.

Christmas shopping lol

Had a really good time out at the shops, and I’m getting excited for Christmas 🎄.

Te Puna Cider Factory

I had fun visiting the Te Puna Cider Factory, we read all the different flavours they make and looked at the yummy food menu. On the way back to the centre we stopped in at K Mart and saw some Christmas decorations.

Blind Foundation Collection

I really enjoyed collecting money for the Blind Foundation with my friend Kayne who is partially sighted. I spoke to lots of people and raised lot of money for a good cause.

Back to drama

This week I went back to drama. I enjoyed dancing to lots of different music and helping to think of our next drama play about Christmas.

Poi & Rakau

In our music session we sang some songs in te Reno and then we had a go at twirling the poi and throwing the Rakau (sticks) to each other. I was pretty good! 

Swimming

The water when we went swimming was really relaxing and warm, I had a really good time splashing my friends, awesome!

This week I had my production for drama. It was called a wolfs tale and I was Mr Wolf! I liked dancing and singing and when everyone clapped at the end.

Chewy chocolate chip cookies

I made chewy chocolate chip cookies today they were yummy. I’m really enjoying cooking.

Beach volleyball

It was so cool playing beach volleyball for sports looking forward to summer so we can go there more often

Disco day

we had the best disco day. We were joined by Greerton and Te puke they really enjoyed it. Very lucky to have DJ Spin to come in and our very own DJ Shelster aka Shelley Maffey to help him out.

Op Shop Work

I am a big help at the SPCA Op Shop on a Wednesday afternoon. Each week we are given different jobs to help out with.

Fish and chips

Drama

Im playing the part of Mr Wolf in the new drama play .... im a nice wolf and my friend Gayleen is my wolf wife! Red riding hood is in it too played by my friend Alyssa.

Cleaning up the community

We have learnt about how to keep our planet clean and helping the environment in learning through discovery. We went for a walk around one of our local parks and picked up some rubbish. It was good to get some fresh air too.
