Lion king movie

I went with my mates to see the Lion King movie. My favourite part of the movie was when Simba came back as a big lion and became king. I enjoyed the music too. I ate some yummy twisties and a drink for my movie snacks.

Mussel fritters

Today I was lucky to complete one of my cooking goals which was making mussel fritters. They were yum and surprisingly not that hard to make.

Discovery ....... Albatross wings

We measured out three metres with a tape measure and some wool. This is how big an albatrosses wing span is! Wow! A lot bigger than my cockatoo at home.

Waihi Gold Mine

I had a fantastic day at Waihi Gold Mines. We had a good look around the whole place. It was so interesting! No gold for me though! 😭
