Talent quest

 I was on stage singing for the talent quest. I sung with the kapahaka group and my own song coming in from the cold by Bob Marley. It was a great day with lots of awesome singing! 

Researching my favourite bird the Shag

 In discovery we did some research on my favourite bird, the shag! I like looking out to see if it's sitting on the street light down the road. Did you know there are 36 different types of shag! 

Connect 20

 We went to the citz club for lunch with connect 20. I liked catching up with my friends and having a yummy lunch 

Coast Care

 This week our Discovery group went to 192 Marine Parade beach side and meet up with Matt from Coast Care. Matt explained to us about how Sand dunes protect our beaches. We helped weed the sand dunes by removing the yellow wild flower weeds. After our hard work we enjoyed a picnic lunch and put our feet in the ocean.

Sailability

 I love sailing with sailability. I look forward to going every 2nd week and catching up with my sailing buddies. 

Dj spin in the house!

  We had a whole day Disco and dj spin came to play all the good sounds. I did so much dancing, what an awesome day with my mates

Woodwork

This week in woodwork we painted and levelled out a plank of wood that we will use to hnag our bags up. We painted the wood beforehand and then used a screw driver to screw the hocks onto to hang our bags on. 

Blaze gym

 I had fun at the gym punching the boxing bag, doing arm curls, rowing, doing crunches and leg squats. Mynmuscles feel bigger already!

Sailability

Its great to be back at Sailability for the year. It was a perfect day to be out sailing the ocean from Sulphur point. 

Connect 20

 We went to the citz club for lunch with the connect 20 crew. It was good to see everyone

Starting our herb planters

 In woodwork we are building herb planter boxes. We measured the sides, cut them out and penciled in where the screws need to go. It's a work in progress so watch this space!

Mitre 10

 We went to mitre 10 for woodwork cos we are building some herb planters, but first we needed some wood, screws, seeds and some tools to build it with! 

Back at Mahi!

 It's great to be back. I've been really busy. Went to the pub and played some pool, went to yatton Park and served the community by picking up some rubbish under the trees. Oh and it was my birthday!  My friends sung me happy birthday and gave me a card. So cool!
