My Month July

 Hey everyone,

Michael here. Just letting you know what I have been up to. I visited Anzac park with the guys where we played force back with the rugby ball. Heaps of fun. Sailability was awesome as always. I helped out with the weekly centre shop. I went to the Merivale community hub where we made Matariki stars with others from the community. I joined in with the Greerton and Te Puke groups for some karaoke. I sang a U2 song. I visited Carmichael Reserve for some bird watching then went to Growers Direct to get some veges. I walked to Marble Bar for a game of pool with the guys. I was in good form as usual haha. We also learned about road safety and stranger danger. I smashed one of my goals and that was to play disc golf at Mclaren Falls with my friends. We also played some pickle ball at The Lakes. I'm very keen to try this again. I went to KatiKati bird gardens. I loved seeing all the different birds. Ten pin bowling was great. I ended with a score of 95 and bragging rights. I enjoyed walking and chatting with my friends through Yatton park. Wow, I am a busy man. I am also back at drama. Visiting Fraser Manor was cool. I got to play bingo with the residents there. As everyone knows, I can be counted on to assist with jobs that need doing around our centre. Gives me a  buzz to help out, keeping me connected and real sense of purpose. My month May

 Hi everyone. It has been another cool month doing purposeful activities that keep me connected within my community. I attended an Operatunity concert with a hoedown showdown theme in the city and I really enjoyed it. Great country music.I had a swim at Greerton pool with my mates.. Learning about how to grow mushrooms was fun as was the inclusive movement class I went to, where we played cool indoor games. I always enjoy going to Just Wanna Have Fun. I learnt some sign language. I had lunch with Connect20 and enjoyed a good catch up with my mates. I went to Blaze gym for a workout and visited Ila Park where we played cricket and basketball. I love my sports. I enjoyed a walk through Yatton Park with the guys and we chatted and explored the old trees there. I am getting creative with cooking. I helped to cook devilled sausages, rice and pumpkin. I helped to cook bread cases in our kitchen too. I still really enjoy sailing and being out on the water. I'm always learning new  life skills every week to help me with daily living. I visited Ianson reserve and checked out trees, bugs and critters. I even went to the Tauranga races with my mates. It was fun. I am very happy doing things that I enjoy.

Cooking bread cases during Creative Kitchen

 Kia Ora everyone. I had fun in the kitchen making bread cases filled with cheese and kumara with my friends and they were very tasty indeed. It was team effort.

Operatunity hoedown and showdown

 Hello everyone. I got to go to this awesome show with my friends. The music was country themed and really good. I would go again thats for sure.

 Hi everyone. Had a cool walk through McCardle wallk way. Lots of tracks to explore and fun stuff  to see like little fort huts in the trees.

 Hi everyone. I had a great morning at Johnson Reserve exploring the walk ways . native plants and trees. Awesome day and i was with my friends too, which made it more enjoyable

 Hello all. I had a great afternoon hanging out with the Menz group. Walked through Yatton park and enjoyed some good korero and a laugh. Also good to be in nature.

 Hi everyone. I always enjoy being sociable with my friends. I like to chat and a have a laugh and of course a nice lunch.

Ten pin

 Hello everyone. I enjoyed a cliff hanger of a game of ten pin. Very close game and the pressure was on. Haha. We were all winners at the end of the day.

 Hi everyone. I enjoyed composing my own song  today at Just wanna have fun with the guys. Had a bit of laugh too. Roll over Beethoven.

 Hi everyone. I enjoyed playing cricket with the guys it was fun and I'm not bad either haha. Love to do more of this in the future. Good exercise too.

 Hi guys. I was out and about doing one of my favourite things to do, bird watching. Very hot day, the birds must have hiding from the sun but i enjoyed it all the same

 Hello everyone. Had a mean time today with my friends. Love swimming and playing in the water. Enjoyed a laugh and some social time. Great way to start my year.

 Hi everyone had a pretty cool morning playing bingo at Greerton library with my friends. I won a couple of games too which made it even better.
